Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in domestic competition two and a half years since relocating so building work could begin.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium in early November. The club said they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side in December in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
